Terms & conditions

These terms govern the use of the Toursen website and the booking of the experiences published on it. By using this site or making a booking you accept what is set out below, so we recommend reading it carefully.

Who we are

This website is owned by Toursen, which markets guided tours and travel experiences. You can reach us at info@toursen.com or on WhatsApp at +39 351 857 8428.

Purpose of this website

This site works as a catalogue: it presents the available destinations, cities and experiences, with their description, photographs and reference price. Bookings are not completed here but on the booking platform described in the next section.

We aim to keep the published information accurate and up to date. Even so, availability, schedules and prices may change; the details that count for contractual purposes are always those shown when you confirm your booking.

Bookings and payment

Bookings are made through FareHarbor, the platform we work with. When you click a booking button you leave this site and enter their environment, where you provide the traveller’s details and make the payment. We never store your card details.

Your booking is confirmed once you receive the corresponding confirmation. Before completing payment you are shown the specific conditions for that activity: schedule, meeting point, duration, language, access requirements and the applicable cancellation policy. Those specific conditions prevail over any general description published in this catalogue.

Prices

Prices shown in the catalogue are reference prices per person, in the currency indicated, and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Different rates may apply depending on the date, the number of participants or the option chosen.

Services not included in the activity description (travel to the meeting point, meals, optional tickets or gratuities) are at the traveller’s expense.

Cancellations and changes

Each experience has its own cancellation policy, shown during the booking process and stated in your confirmation. To cancel or change a booking you must follow that policy, which determines the deadlines and any amounts due in each case.

If you need help with a cancellation or a change, email us at info@toursen.com quoting your booking reference and we will guide you.

We may cancel or reschedule an activity for reasons beyond our control, such as adverse weather, unexpected site closures, strikes or any safety concern. In such cases we will offer you an alternative or a refund of the affected activity.

Traveller responsibilities

Arriving late at the meeting point may prevent participation with no right to a refund, since groups and museum or monument entry slots run to fixed times.

  • Arrive at the meeting point with the lead time stated in your booking confirmation.
  • Bring the necessary personal documentation and, where the activity requires it, any proof entitling you to a reduced rate.
  • Follow the guide’s safety instructions and respect the rules of the sites visited.
  • Tell us when booking about any relevant circumstance, such as reduced mobility, allergies or specific needs, so we can confirm the activity is suitable.

Liability

We are responsible for the proper provision of the services we market, in accordance with applicable law. We accept no liability for incidents arising from force majeure, from the traveller’s failure to observe these terms, or from third-party services the traveller arranges independently.

Activities may be operated by local partner guides and suppliers. Where relevant, the information for each experience identifies who provides the service.

Intellectual property

The texts, photographs, logos and design of this site are protected by intellectual property law. You may view them and share links, but not reproduce them or use them for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Data protection

How we handle your personal data is described in our privacy policy, and our use of cookies in the cookie policy. Both form part of these terms.

Complaints and applicable law

If something has not gone as expected, tell us at info@toursen.com: we will look into your complaint and seek a solution. These terms are governed by the law applicable at the company’s place of establishment, without prejudice to the consumer rights the traveller may have in their country of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms to reflect changes to our services or to the law. The version applicable to your booking is the one in force when you make it, and the date of the latest revision appears at the foot of this page.
