Toursen

Cookie policy

This cookie policy explains what cookies are, how Toursen uses them on this website and what choices you have. It applies to the Toursen website and to the destination and experience pages published on it.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit it. It can be used to remember your preferences, keep a session open or measure how the site is used. Alongside cookies there are other technologies with a similar purpose, such as your browser’s local storage.

Cookies used on this site

This website does not set advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies. It also does not store information in your browser’s local storage: the language you are browsing in travels in the web address itself (for example /es or /en), so there is no need to remember it on your device.

For this reason you will not see a cookie consent banner when you arrive: there are no optional cookies to accept or reject.

Audience measurement

To understand how many people visit the site and which pages are most useful, we use Vercel Analytics, the analytics service provided by our hosting provider. This measurement is designed to work without cookies and without creating persistent identifiers: no profile is built about you and you are not tracked from one website to another.

The data is processed in aggregate form (page views, approximate country, device type) and does not allow us to identify you personally.

Third-party services when booking

Bookings are handled through FareHarbor, the platform we work with. When you click a booking button you leave this site and go to FareHarbor’s website, which sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy. We neither control those cookies nor have access to them.

Likewise, the links to our Instagram and Facebook profiles are ordinary links: we do not embed their content or social buttons, so those networks receive no information about your visit unless you click.

How to manage cookies

Even though this site sets no optional cookies, you can control and delete cookies from any website in your browser settings. There you will find options to block them, delete them or be warned before they are stored. Bear in mind that blocking cookies broadly may affect how other sites work, including the booking process on FareHarbor.

Changes to this policy

If we add services that use cookies in the future, we will update this page before enabling them and, where the law requires it, we will ask for your prior consent. We recommend checking back from time to time.
