Breakfast at the hotel and a free day to explore Rome at your own pace. Includes the 24-hour Hop-On Hop-Off panoramic bus (I Love Rome City Tour, 8 stops). Option to book Vatican or Colosseum tours. Accommodation.
Day 3 · Rome › Bari
Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time, make your own way to Rome’s station and take the high-speed train to Bari. Arrival at the hotel on your own. Accommodation.
Day 4 · Bari
Breakfast and meeting with the guide at the hotel for a walking tour of Apulia’s capital: the Basilica of San Nicola and the characterful Bari Vecchia, where women make orecchiette in the street. Tasting of the typical focaccia barese. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.
Day 5 · Bari › Lecce
Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time, make your own way to Bari’s station and take the high-speed train to Lecce. Arrival at the hotel on your own. Accommodation.
Day 6 · Lecce
Breakfast and meeting with the guide at Porta San Biagio for a tour of the Lecce Baroque: churches and palaces carved in fine Lecce stone, and the old town’s craft shops. Tasting of the “pasticciotto”, the local custard-filled pastry. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.
Day 7 · Lecce
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Brindisi airport or Lecce train station. End of our services.
