After breakfast, free time to explore Milan at your own pace. In the afternoon, meet your local guide for a three-hour walking tour of the historic centre: from Porta Venezia along Corso Venezia, the Indro Montanelli gardens and the Gallery of Modern Art, the iconic Teatro alla Scala, the majestic façade of the Duomo and the Castello Sforzesco. Arrival in La Spezia for the night.
Day 5 · La Spezia › Cinque Terre › La Spezia (B)
A memorable trip to the Cinque Terre —Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore—, five villages between cliffs and hills with some of the cleanest waters in the Mediterranean. We explore them by local train, with free time for lunch. In the afternoon, back to La Spezia.
Day 6 · La Spezia › Maranello (Ferrari Museum) › Modena (acetaia with lunch) › Venice (B, L)
