Day 1 · Rome
Welcome to Rome! On arrival at the airport you will meet your driver and be transferred to the hotel (transfer included). Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to start discovering the Eternal City at your own pace. Accommodation in Rome.
Day 2 · Rome (B)
Breakfast and free day. Discover both the iconic monuments and the hidden treasures: every corner of the Eternal City will leave you with unforgettable memories. Accommodation in Rome.
Day 3 · Rome › Pompeii › Sorrento (B, D)
Breakfast and 7:00 departure south along the “Motorway of the Sun”. Arrival in Pompeii, at the foot of Vesuvius, and a full archaeological visit of about 2.5 hours with a licensed guide: streets, houses, bakeries and preserved temples, frescoes and mosaics, and the story of the AD 79 eruption. Then transfer to Sorrento amid coastal views. Dinner at the hotel (smart casual) and accommodation.
Day 4 · Sorrento › Capri › Sorrento (B, D)
Breakfast and boat departure to Capri. Weather permitting, visit the Blue Grotto. Free time for lunch (not included) and to explore the island at your own pace. In the afternoon, return to Sorrento. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 5 · Sorrento › Bari (B)
Breakfast and, at the indicated time, transfer to Caserta to take the train to Bari. On arrival at Bari station, meet your driver and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 6 · Bari (B, D)
Breakfast and guided tour of Bari’s historic centre: the Basilica of San Nicola and the Norman-Swabian Castle (entrance not included), Piazza Mercantile and the old Column of Justice. Free time for lunch. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 7 · Bari › Trani › Castel del Monte › Alberobello (B, D)
Breakfast and departure for Trani: visit its white-stone cathedral and the Jewish quarter. Then Castel del Monte, a World Heritage Site, and its unique octagonal architecture. Finally, Alberobello, famous for its trulli (stone houses) and fairy-tale atmosphere. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 8 · Alberobello › Matera › Alberobello (B, D)
After breakfast, travel to Matera, a World Heritage Site. We will visit the “Sassi di Matera”, caves used as dwellings for more than 9,000 years, the Romanesque Cathedral and its unique views over the Sassi. In the afternoon, return to Alberobello. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 9 · Alberobello › Locorotondo › Ostuni › Lecce (B, D)
Breakfast and departure for Locorotondo, a white town of whitewashed houses. Continue to Ostuni, the “white city”, with free time to explore and have lunch. In the afternoon, arrival in Lecce, the Baroque jewel of the Salento. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 10 · Lecce › Otranto › masseria dinner › Lecce (B, D)
Breakfast and guided tour of Lecce: the Cathedral, the Basilica of Santa Croce and Piazza del Duomo. Then Otranto, famous for its history and its Cathedral with the bones of the 813 martyrs. Typical dinner at Masseria L’Uliveto and return to Lecce for accommodation.
Day 11 · Lecce › Martina Franca › cooking class › Monopoli › Bari (B, L)
Breakfast and route towards Bari across the Murge plateau. Visit Martina Franca, an elegant Baroque town (Piazza Plebiscito and Ducal Palace). In the Itria Valley, at Masseria Montenapoleone, a cooking class to make fresh pasta (orecchiette, cavatelli) and lunch with what you have made plus local specialities. In the afternoon, Monopoli, a fortified citadel with an eastern charm, and return to Bari for the night.
Day 12 · Bari (B)
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport.

- In high season, visiting the Blue Grotto in Capri may involve long queues or, given its limited capacity, may not be possible. If access is not possible or weather does not allow it, the guide will suggest alternatives (for example, the Faraglioni rocks).
