Day 1 · Cagliari
Welcome to Sardinia! On landing in Cagliari, meet your private driver for the transfer to your central hotel. Rest of the day free to relax or start exploring Cagliari at your own pace. Night in Cagliari.
Day 2 · Cagliari (B)
With your local guide, a walking tour of Cagliari’s historic quarters —Castello, Stampace and Marina—: the Bastion of Saint Remy, the Elephant Tower and the Cathedral of Santa Maria. Free afternoon for Poetto beach or an optional visit to the Roman Amphitheatre and the Archaeological Museum. Night in Cagliari.
Day 3 · Cagliari › Nuoro › Orgosolo › Alghero (B, shepherds’ food experience)
Towards the Barbagia, one of the most authentic regions of Sardinia. First stop in Nuoro, of museums and craft traditions. We climb into the mountains for a traditional shepherds’ lunch surrounded by unspoilt nature (drinks included). Then Orgosolo, famous for its colourful murals and pastoral culture. On to Alghero. Accommodation.
Day 4 · Alghero › Palmavera › Capo Caccia › Alghero (B, food experience)
Walking tour of Alghero’s old town, of Catalan roots and stately architecture. Lunch: a food experience at a local estate with Sardinian cuisine. In the afternoon, the Bronze-Age nuragic site of Palmavera and Capo Caccia, with spectacular views from its cliffs. Back to Alghero, free time and accommodation.
Day 5 · Alghero › Castelsardo › Tempio Pausania › Olbia (B, food experience)
Towards eastern Sardinia. First stop in Castelsardo, a hilltop coastal town overlooking the Costa Paradiso: medieval centre and panorama. Inland to Tempio Pausania, quiet and rich in granite buildings and baroque churches, with a traditional Sardinian lunch. Then Olbia, a lively port connected to the Costa Smeralda. Accommodation.
Day 6 · Olbia › Costa Smeralda › Olbia (B)
Morning along the Costa Smeralda, visiting Porto Rotondo and glamorous Porto Cervo, with free time to explore these beautiful coastal towns. Around midday, back to Olbia and free time: stroll the town, relax by the hotel pool or head to the beach. Accommodation.
Day 7 · Olbia (B)
Enjoy your last breakfast in Sardinia. Transfer from the hotel to Olbia Costa Smeralda airport. End of our services.
