If you are a history enthusiast eager to learn more about Rome’s “archaeological lasagna,” or if you simply have never had a local expert guide you through Rome’s Great Beauty, Toursen has the perfect tour for you!

Meet your guide in front of the Castel Sant’Angelo entrance.
Cross the Angel Bridge, adorned with Gian Lorenzo Bernini’s marvelous sculptures, to reach Piazza Navona, one of Rome’s most charming Baroque squares. The next stop is the Pantheon: a pagan temple, Catholic church, masterpiece of Roman architecture, and mausoleum of some of Italy’s most important artists.

From the Pantheon, you will head to the world’s most famous fountain, the Trevi Fountain!
Your walk continues to Piazza Venezia, ending this Toursen tour at the most notable of Rome’s seven hills: the Capitoline Hill, home to the city hall and the Capitoline Museums. Here, you can enjoy an incredible view of the ancient Roman Forum ruins.

At the end of this 2.5-hour walking tour, you’ll be just a 2-minute walk from Piazza Venezia (taxi stop available here), 15 minutes on foot from the Colosseum (Metro B – Colosseo), 10 minutes on foot from the Jewish Quarter, 20 minutes on foot from Trastevere—one of the city’s most popular neighborhoods for its cuisine, 20 minutes on foot from Piazza di Spagna (Metro A – Spagna), and 20 minutes from the Trevi Fountain (Metro A – Barberini).
