The Uffizi Gallery is one of the most important and most visited museums in the world. This 2-hour tour of the Uffizi Gallery includes a visit to the main floor, where some of the most significant masterpieces of Italian and international art are displayed. The main floor is the oldest part of the museum, built in the 16th century as offices for the Florentine government. Today, it houses a wide collection of artworks, including paintings, sculptures, furniture, and tapestries.

During the tour, you will have the opportunity to admire works spanning from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. Among the must-see masterpieces are Giotto’s Maestà, works by Botticelli including the iconic Primavera and Venus, Michelangelo’s Tondo Doni, and works by Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, and many more. We will focus on the works on the second floor, starting with the Maestà hall, where we can admire the magnificent Giotto and compare Florentine painting with Sienese, taking a journey from Gothic art to the Renaissance with great masters like Masaccio, Filippo Lippi, and Piero della Francesca.

We will also spend time uncovering all the secrets behind Botticelli, marveling at Primavera and Venus. Then, we will move to the heart of the museum—the magnificent Buontalenti Grotto, dominated by the four elements. The tour will conclude with three essential artists: Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Raphael.
